Past Simple Tense

1 ประโยค Past Simple Tense เชิงบอกเล่า

โครงสร้าง : Subject + Verb 2
ตัวอย่าง : 1.He walked to school yesterday. ( เขาเดินมาโรงเรียนเมื่อวานนี้

2. They played volleyball last week. ( เขาทั้งหลายเล่นวอลเลย์บอลสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว )

2 ประโยค Past Simple Tense เชิงปฏิเสธ
เมื่อต้องการแต่งประโยคใน Past Simple Tense ให้มีความหมายเชิงปฏิเสธ ทำได้ด้วยการใช้ Verb to do ช่องที่ 2 คือ did มาช่วย และเติม not ข้างหลัง มีโครงสร้างของประโยคดังนี้

โครงสร้าง : Subject + did + not + Verb 1

ตัวอย่าง : 1. He did not ( didn’t ) walk to school yesterday. ( เขาไม่ได้เดินมาโรงเรียนเมื่อวานนี้ )
2. They did not play volleyball last week. ( เขาทั้งหลายไม่ได้เล่นวอลเลย์บอลสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว )

ข้อสังเกต : เมื่อนำ did มาใช้ในประโยคแล้วต้องเปลี่ยนกริยาช่องที่ 2 ให้เป็นกริยาช่องที่ 1 ด้วย

3 ประโยค Past Simple Tense เชิงคำถามและการตอบ
เมื่อต้องการแต่งประโยคใน Past Simple Tense ให้มีความหมายเชิงคำถาม ทำได้ด้วยการนำ did มาวางไว้หน้าประโยคและตอบด้วย Yes หรือ No ซึ่งมีโครงสร้างของประโยคดังนี้

โครงสร้าง : Did + Subject + Verb 1

ตัวอย่าง : 1. Did he walk to school yesterday ?( เมื่อวานนี้เขาเดินมาโรงเรียนใช่หรือไม่ )
- Yes, he did. ( ใช่ เขาเดินมา )
- No, he didn’t. ( ไม่เขาไม่ได้เดินมา )

2. Did they play volleyball last week ?( เขาทั้งหลายเล่นวอลเลย์บอลสัปดาห์ที่แล้วใช่หรือไม่ )
- Yes, they did. ( ใช่ เขาทั้งหลายเล่น )

Ferdinand Magellan

Ferdinand Magellan ( c. 1480 – April 27, 1521) was a Portuguese explorer. He was born in Sabrosa, in northern Portugal, but later obtained Spanish nationality in order to serve King Charles I of Spain in search of a westward route to the "Spice Islands" (modern Maluku Islands in Indonesia).

Pavarotti

Luciano Pavarotti, Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI (12 October 1935 – 6 September 2007) was an Italian operatic tenor, who also crossed over into popular music, eventually becoming one of the most commercially successful tenors of all time. He made numerous recordings of complete operas and individual arias, and established himself as one of the finest tenors of the 20th century. He was one of "The Three Tenors" and became well-known for his televised concerts and media appearances. Pavarotti was also noted for his charity work on behalf of refugees and the Red Cross, amongst others.
